Banana Bread



Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4-5 over-ripe bananas
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
small dash of cinnamon
tiny dash of nutmeg

1. Cream together butter and sugars
2. Add eggs and crushed bananas
3. Combine well.
4. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla.
5. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan
6. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
7. Keeps well, refrigerated.

*This is a wonderfully moist banana bread. Easy to make and delicious. I could not find a recipe I liked so I improvised between a few and this is what I came up with. :)*
